My Story
I’ve been a therapist for more than a decade now. In addition to my work with individuals, families, and couples, I’ve also facilitated group therapy, given staff trainings, lead workshops, and hosted retreats. In addition to this, the last few years I’ve taught both master’s and doctoral level students in clinical psychology.
But before any of that, I was a client. In my early 20s I was really struggling with a depressed mood and low self worth. At the advice of a friend, I sought out therapy. I was in both individual and group therapy for many years, and it changed my life. In the context of the group therapy, I found myself giving feedback and insights to other group members that they found helpful. I was encouraged by the other group members and my therapist to consider becoming a therapist myself.
Fifteen years later, here I am, hoping to give you your own transformative experience.

My Commitments to You
Authenticity is my highest value. So I commit to showing up honestly and being real with you about what you tell me. If I compliment you, I mean it. If I challenge you, it’s because I think it’s in your own best interest.
I commit walking alongside you with consistency and competency for as long as we mutually agree it’s helping you on your journey.
My Life Outside Work
I like to stay active and adventurous. I’m a casual runner, train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a few times a week, and I am a massive sports fan (college hoops and European soccer most of all). I’m very close to my four siblings with whom I spend a lot of time.
The handsome guy beside me is a hybrid wolfdog named Monty. He comes to work with me everyday. He’s a certified therapy dawg through Paws’itive Teams here in San Diego, and we also do some volunteer work in the region.
I really value my spiritual, emotional, and relational development; so I’m also typically digesting some podcast, book, course, or TEDTalk that I find fascinating and can’t stop talking about.
Beyond that, I look forward to getting to know each other more in the therapy room!
